Anyone who works with people knows that agreements have to be made. Making arrangements with children is just as important and the parents of these children should also be informed. You have various options for contacting the parents of these children without them having to be members of the children’s groups.
Parents of individual children #
If you always want to contact a child’s parents directly, for example because the child is still too young, the easiest way to do this is to set a parent’s e-mail as the default e-mail in the child’s personal profile.

If the child has their own e-mail, but you still want to contact the parents, use the relationships in the child’s personal profile, switch to the parent’s profile and send your e-mail.

Several parents #
In the Persons module, the More filters include the Relationship filter. You can use these to filter out parents of a group type or certain groups.
You can use the checkboxes next to the names of the filtered parents to customize whether you want to continue working with all or only selected parents from the filter result.

You can now either contact the parents you have selected directly or add them to a group with bulk actions, which you can then use to reach everyone with e-mails, posts or group chats.
