If a calendar appointment is linked to an event for which people are assigned to a service, ChurchTools offers you the option of displaying a supplement for the appointment title in the calendar for this appointment. This addition is then added to the title of the associated appointment for each person who is entered in the roster of an event for this service. For example, if you always want to display the current preacher for the church service, you can set this to happen automatically in the Events module.
1. call up services in the Events module #
Open the Master data in the event module and the services here.
2. call up the service settings #
Click on the service to which the addition for the appointment title relates. The editing window for this service opens.
3. edit supplement for appointment title #
You can use the following placeholders as a supplement:
- [First name]
- [Surname]
- [Surname.1] (this is the abbreviated surname, e.g. M.)
- [Nickname]
- [Title]
- [Username]
- [ID]
The addition “with [first name] [last name.1]” is then displayed in the calendar in the appointment title:
