Resource statuses define the current status of a booking request for a resource. In other words, they map out the booking process—from the initial request through confirmation, rejection, or cancellation.
For a standard resource without automatic confirmation, a new booking request is initially assigned the status “Awaiting Confirmation.” If the request is subsequently approved by an administrator, its status changes to “Confirmed.” If it is not approved, it is assigned the status ” Rejected.”
As a general rule, the existing resource statuses should not be changed. If necessary, only the name should be adjusted.
