ChurchTools Website does not include hosting and operating your own domain. ChurchTools Website includes creating your own website in conjunction with an existing ChurchTools installation.

Can I move existing email inboxes to ChurchTools Website? #

ChurchTools Website does not offer email accounts. So you will need to continue to host these with an existing provider with the domain.

Where is my data processed by ChurchTools Website? #

ChurchTools Website is hosted exclusively on our servers in a German data centre. ChurchTools Website is highly available and backups of all websites are made daily. You can find further information about ChurchTools Website on our website.

Can I host ChurchTools Website on Swiss servers or by myself? #

Currently there are no plans to host ChurchTools Website on other servers or self-host.

As an admin, do I have access to the data and directory structure? #

We do not grant you direct access to the file system for both technical and security reasons.
