The visitor statistics track anonymized data from visitors to your ChurchTools Website. In the statistics generated from this data, you can see, for example, how many visitors were on your website, which of your web pages they viewed, which browsers they used, and which countries they came from.
Umami runs in the background to collect data. This tool is a privacy-friendly alternative to Google Analytics, and we host it on our servers at Hetzner. It does not store any sensitive, personally identifiable visitor data or IP addresses; instead, all data is anonymized and extracted from the logs. Consequently, the scope of the GDPR does not apply, and the provision under §25 TDDDG is not applicable. Therefore, you do not need a cookie banner.
You can find more information about data security at ChurchTools on our data security webpage.
