What is the difference between simulation and execution?

< 1 Min. lesen

Simulation #

The data of your ChurchTool is not changed during a simulation. Once the simulation is completed, you will receive a detailed log of what would have happened if the sync job had actually been executed. If you notice any unwanted actions here, adjust the configuration of your job and simulate again.

Repeat this until you are satisfied with the “What would have happened?” result without actually changing any data in your ChurchTools.

Execution #

When executing, the actions you have defined for the job are actually carried out. This means that, depending on the configuration of your sync job, the selected persons/transactions/accounts… are actually synchronized in your own and/or another system.

ChurchTools Community?!
