When creating a new post, the author of the post decides whether the post should only be visible to group members or whether the post should follow the group’s visibility.

In the first case, only active group members can see the post. In the second case, the visibility of the post depends on whether the groups visibility itself is Public, Intern, Restricted or Hidden.

• Public – Anyone can see the post, even without a ChurchTools user account.
• Intern – Everyone with a user account in your ChurchTools can see the post.
• Restricted – Only authorized people can see the post.
• Hidden – Only people who can see the hidden group can see the post.

Group members who can see that they are part of a group will always see all posts in that group.
