Once you have set the people filter, you can select actions that will automatically regulate membership in your group. In this article, we explain the selectable actions and their effects in a little more detail.

The actions are always dependent on the group member status (1) of the filtered persons. The statuses are displayed in rows in the overview.
In the middle column, you define the actions to be carried out for the people who match your filter result (2). In the right-hand column, on the other hand, you define the actions that are to be carried out for people who do not match your filter (3).

Person is not yet in the Groups #

The following actions, which you define in the middle column, are performed for people who are not yet in your group, but who match your filter and should be there.
Add to Groups #
The person is added to the Group, i.e. marked as active and thus receives Group-internal permissions.
Enter request #
The person is marked as requested and therefore does not receive any group-internal permissions. Either you define another action that further regulates this person’s membership or you check the request yourself and set the person’s group member status and role manually.
Person is marked as requested #

The actions in the middle column are carried out for people who have requested group membership (e.g. via the group homepage) or whose group membership status has been set to requested by a leader or employee and who match your filter and should be included. In the right-hand column, you can specify what should happen to requests for this group member status if the person does not match your filter.
Accept request #
The person is added to the Group and thus receives Group-internal permissions.
Reject request #
The person is marked as to be deleted and therefore does not receive any group-internal permissions.
Delete request #
The person is not added to the Group and therefore does not receive any Group-internal permissions. The request is automatically deleted.
Edit request #
The person’s group membership status remains requested, but their role or group membership fields can be changed. For example, you can have a comment added automatically.
Person is marked as active #

The actions in the middle column are performed for people who are marked as active group members and who match your filter. In the right-hand column, you can define what should happen to group members for this group member status if the person does not or no longer matches the filter, for example because they are no longer a parishioner.
Mark as “to be deleted” #
The person is marked as to be deleted and thus loses their group-internal permissions.
Reset to requested #
The person is marked as requested and thus loses their group-internal permissions.
Remove from Groups #
The person is no longer displayed in the Group and thus loses their Group-internal permissions.
Edit membership #
The person remains an active group member, but their role or group membership fields can be changed.
Person is marked as to be deleted #

The actions in the middle column are carried out for people who are to be deleted as group members and who match your filter. In the right-hand column, you can specify for this group member status what should happen to group members to be deleted if the person does not or no longer matches the filter.
Reactivate #
The person is added to the group again, i.e. set to active, and thus receives group-internal permissions again.
Reset to requested #
The person is marked as requested and therefore still has no group-internal permissions.
Remove from Groups #
The person is no longer displayed in the Group and therefore still has no Group-internal permissions.
Edit membership #
The person’s group member status remains defined as to be deleted, but their role or group membership fields can be changed.
