Only the data you select will be synchronized. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It&#8217;s important for you to know that categories in Optigem can be anything\u2014for example, groups, person status, etc.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">1. Install the ChurchTools Optigem Configurator<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">First, download the Windows application &#8221; <a href=\"https:\/\/seafile.church.tools\/d\/75478256b5954de49459\/\">ChurchTools-Optigem Configurator<\/a> &#8221; on the computer that has access to your Optigem data, and run the setup.<\/p>\n\n<aside class=\"wp-block-group ct-box ct-box-blue has-background is-vertical is-layout-flex wp-container-core-group-is-layout-1ccdadb1 wp-block-group-is-layout-flex\" style=\"border-radius:8px;border-left-color:#3e70ce;border-left-width:0.5rem;background-color:#f3f5f7;margin-top:var(--wp--preset--spacing--60);margin-bottom:var(--wp--preset--spacing--60)\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"margin-top:0.5rem;margin-right:0.5rem;margin-bottom:0rem;margin-left:0.5rem\"><strong>Hinweis<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"margin-top:0rem;margin-right:0.5rem;margin-bottom:0.5rem;margin-left:0.5rem\">You should have the latest version of the configurator installed. Normally, once installed, the configurator updates itself automatically. If not, you may need to update it manually.  <br><br>The path to the configuration file and the log will remain the same as long as you save the current version to the same directory.<\/p>\n<\/aside>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2. Select the Optigem database and log in<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the next step, select the database where your Optigem data is stored. This is either an<em> Access<\/em> or an <em>MS-SQL database<\/em> (1). Under <em>Optigem<\/em> &gt; <em>Optigem Service Tool<\/em>, the <em>Installation\/Update<\/em> section will show you the database type currently used by your Optigem.   <br><br>If you&#8217;re unable to log in, you can close the <em>ChurchTools Optigem Configurator<\/em> and reopen it. Alternatively, you can open <em>Task Manager<\/em> using <em>Windows Search<\/em>, go to <em>the &#8220;Roles&#8221; tab<\/em>, and <em>right-click<\/em> the <em>Optigem service<\/em> <em>to restart it<\/em>.   <\/p>\n<\/aside>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">3. Copy the security key<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Once you&#8217;ve selected your Microsoft Access or MS-SQL database and created a share, you&#8217;ll be shown a tenant and a security key. Connect Optigem to my ChurchTools<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Now go to the Sync module in your ChurchTools and, under &#8221; <em>Connections<\/em>,&#8221; click the green <em>&#8220;+ Connect System<\/em>&#8221; button.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Here, enter a <em>name<\/em> for the connection to Optigem (1), the <em>security key<\/em> (2) that you copied earlier in the ChurchTools-Optigem Configurator, and the <em>Optigem tenant ID<\/em> (3). (Typically, the clients are named \u201c01,\u201d \u201c02,\u201d etc.)   <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Finally, <em>test<\/em> the connection by clicking the blue <em>&#8220;Test Connection<\/em> &#8221; button (4). Configure the connection<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If the connection is working properly, define property pairs for the connection and add the first jobs. The assigned pairs apply to <strong>all jobs<\/strong> in a connection.
