{"id":97270,"date":"2026-09-22T15:55:53","date_gmt":"2026-09-22T13:55:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/churchtools.academy\/help\/non-knowledgebase\/uncategorized\/how-do-i-add-a-contact-button\/"},"modified":"2026-10-02T10:35:23","modified_gmt":"2026-10-02T08:35:23","password":"","slug":"how-do-i-add-a-contact-button","status":"publish","type":"docs","link":"https:\/\/churchtools.academy\/en\/help\/website-and-finder\/page-settings\/how-do-i-add-a-contact-button\/","title":{"rendered":"How do I add a &#8220;Contact&#8221; button?"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The ChurchTools Website allows you to provide a contact form that visitors can use to reach the people listed directly, without their e-mail addresses appearing on the website.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When you embed a person in an element on a standard or portal page, you decide whether or not to display the &#8220;<em>Contact<\/em>&#8221; button.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Enable the button by default<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To do this, go to the admin area, click on <em>&#8220;Settings<\/em> <em>&#8220;<\/em> (1), and then select &#8221; <em>Page Content<\/em> <em>&#8220;<\/em> (2). Here, use the slider under <em>&#8220;Show &#8216;Contact&#8217; Button&#8221;<\/em> (3) to enable the button for your website. There is no setting for this on the ChurchTools Website.
