You can create a new page in the admin area of your ChurchTools Website. Here you will find the menu item Pages<\/em> (1) on the left-hand side. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

1a. Create new page <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Use the Create page<\/em> button (2) at the top right to select the type of page. You can read about the different page types<\/em> (3) in the article What page types are there and what makes them different?<\/a> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

1b. Create new subordinate page <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

If you want to create a subordinate page, click on the 3-dot button<\/em> (1) of an existing page and again select the desired page type<\/em> (2).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1c. Call up existing page <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

You can call up an existing page by clicking on the title of the page<\/em> in the page list.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Edit page<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Once you have created a new page, enter the title<\/em> (1) and click on the Save changes<\/em> button (2). The editing window then changes and you can edit the new page in the same way as an existing page. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

You can use the context menu of an existing page to duplicate<\/em> it, unpublish<\/em> it or delete<\/em> it (1).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the live preview<\/em> (2), you can follow all the changes you make to the page in real time. We explain how to use it in the article How to use the live preview?<\/a> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

You can use the Open URL<\/em> button (3) to see how the page would look live at any time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you save<\/em> (4) a page, it is not yet published<\/em> (5). You can do this when you are happy with the page and actually want to take it live. We explain more about this in the article How to publish pages and content?<\/a> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here you give the page a title<\/em> under which the page will later be displayed in the page list under Pages<\/em> and in the name of the browser tab.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
