{"id":9530,"date":"2025-11-04T13:35:58","date_gmt":"2025-11-04T12:35:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/churchtools.academy\/?post_type=docs&#038;p=9530"},"modified":"2025-09-22T09:54:52","modified_gmt":"2025-09-22T08:54:52","password":"","slug":"how-to-synchronize-accounting-data","status":"publish","type":"docs","link":"https:\/\/churchtools.academy\/en\/help\/churchtools-modules\/finanzen-synchronisieren\/how-to-synchronize-accounting-data\/","title":{"rendered":"How to synchronize accounting data"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">You must do this in advance or check it in your ChurchTools<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The Finance module must be <strong>activated<\/strong> in the admin settings and users who are to work with it must have the appropriate permissions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The <strong>accounting year<\/strong> for which transactions are to be synchronised must be created in the Finance module.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The <strong>accounts and cost centers or projects<\/strong> (Optigem) stored in the other system must be created in the Finance module.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Synchronisation with Optigem<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>You either import the <strong>chart of accounts<\/strong> from Optigem into the Finance module in advance or you assign the accounts manually in Sync afterwards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong>projects<\/strong> stored in Optigem should, if necessary, be created as cost centers in the Finance module beforehand.
