We recommend that you create a new person in the external ChurchTools installation (e.g. named &#8220;sync user&#8221;) and give this person sufficient permissions. The login token of the new person can then be found under the following path: *Persons &amp; Groups &gt; Persons &gt; e.g. &#8220;sync user&#8221; &gt; Permissions &gt; Login token.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Our <a href=\"https:\/\/churchtools.academy\/en\/help\/churchtools-modules\/configure-connections\/10-how-to-find-the-sync-user-s-login-token\/\" data-type=\"docs\" data-id=\"9526\">instructions<\/a> for this also contains a list of the necessary permissions for the sync user.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">This is how it works<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">1. Contacting the administrator of the other ChurchTools installation<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>First contact the administrator of the other ChurchTools installation and share these <a href=\"https:\/\/churchtools.academy\/en\/help\/churchtools-modules\/configure-connections\/10-how-to-find-the-sync-user-s-login-token\/\" data-type=\"docs\" data-id=\"9526\">instructions<\/a> with him. This describes how he can create and authorise the sync user and send you the login token.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2.
