For each connection, you map the data properties of both systems to one another, creating property pairs that you can then synchronize using jobs. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The following applies:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The paired properties (also known as property pairs) apply to <strong>all orders <\/strong> <strong>of a<\/strong> connection.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If a property in your ChurchTools system has <strong>multiple values<\/strong>\u2014for example, gender: male or female\u2014then these values must be uniquely linked to the values of the corresponding property in your external system: male &lt;-&gt; m, female &lt;-&gt; w, and so on.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If not all values of a property are linked, the execution of all sync jobs for which that property is selected will be prevented. To prevent this, you can <a href=\"https:\/\/churchtools.academy\/de\/help\/churchtools-modules\/verbindungen-konfigurieren\/wie-definiere-ich-ein-fallback-verhalten\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/churchtools.academy\/de\/help\/churchtools-module\/verbindungen-konfigurieren\/wie-definiere-ich-ein-fallback-verhalten\/\">define a <strong>fallback behavior<\/strong> for the affected values<\/a>.  <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">1. Assign Values<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Next, go through the properties one by one and assign values where necessary.
