You can add taxes and tax types in the master data of the finance module in ChurchTools and thus enter your transactions with the corresponding tax.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To do this, first add all the required tax types and then the corresponding taxes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. Add tax type<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

To add a new tax type, navigate to the Master data<\/strong><\/em> (2) in the Finance module<\/strong><\/em> (1) and select Tax types<\/strong><\/em> (3).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

By default, the tax types Sales tax<\/strong><\/em> and Input tax<\/strong><\/em> are already added here.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you need more tax types, you can create them by clicking on Add<\/strong><\/em> (4).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You name<\/strong><\/em> (1) your new tax type and specify where it should be sorted<\/strong><\/em> (2) before you add<\/strong><\/em> (3) it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Add taxes<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

When you have added all the tax types you need, navigate to Taxes<\/strong><\/em> (3) in the Master Data<\/strong><\/em> (2).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here you will also find taxes that have already been added by default.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With a click on Add<\/strong><\/em> (4) you can create further taxes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You name<\/strong><\/em> (1) the tax and select to which tax type<\/strong><\/em> (2) it belongs. Then you enter the tax rate<\/strong><\/em> (3) in % and select the account<\/strong><\/em> (4) to which this tax is to be allocated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With a click on Add<\/strong><\/em> (5) you have created a new tax, which you can use when entering a transaction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
