You can subscribe to every calendar that is visible to you via iCal and every calendar can be fed with appointments from an iCal source.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<aside class=\"wp-block-group ct-box ct-box-blue has-background is-vertical is-layout-flex wp-container-core-group-is-layout-002f1c27 wp-block-group-is-layout-flex\" style=\"border-radius:8px;border-left-color:#22c55e;border-left-width:0.5rem;background-color:#dcfce7;margin-top:var(--wp--preset--spacing--60);margin-bottom:var(--wp--preset--spacing--60)\">\n<p style=\"margin-top:0.5rem;margin-right:0.5rem;margin-bottom:0rem;margin-left:0.5rem\"><strong>Tip<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"margin-top:0rem;margin-right:0.5rem;margin-bottom:0.5rem;margin-left:0.5rem\">It makes sense not to enter all appointments in one calendar. This allows you to make different congregation or group calendars visible to different groups. Some users may only need certain dates and can therefore subscribe to or display selected calendars.  <\/p>\n<\/aside>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"gemeindekalender\">Congregation calendar<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Congregation calendars<\/em> are for all <em><strong>Dates that affect the whole congregation<\/strong><\/em>. In this category, for example, you can create a calendar for church services, one for youth events and one for other church events such as prayer evenings, camps, etc.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<aside class=\"wp-block-group ct-box ct-box-blue has-background is-vertical is-layout-flex wp-container-core-group-is-layout-002f1c27 wp-block-group-is-layout-flex\" style=\"border-radius:8px;border-left-color:#22c55e;border-left-width:0.5rem;background-color:#dcfce7;margin-top:var(--wp--preset--spacing--60);margin-bottom:var(--wp--preset--spacing--60)\">\n<p style=\"margin-top:0.5rem;margin-right:0.5rem;margin-bottom:0rem;margin-left:0.5rem\"><strong>Tip<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"margin-top:0rem;margin-right:0.5rem;margin-bottom:0.5rem;margin-left:0.5rem\">For appointments in congregation or group calendars, you can create sign up groups or events directly and have resources transacted. You can find more information on this in our related articles at the end of this page.<\/p>\n<\/aside>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"gruppenkalender\">Group calendar<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Group calendars<\/em> are ideal for <em><strong>organize roles or small groups<\/strong><\/em>. By default, they are visible to the group to which they were linked when the calendar was created. In addition to the functions of the congregation calendar, you can also create meeting requests for appointments in a group calendar to plan the next meeting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you submit a meeting request, the requested users are informed by e-mail and can accept or reject the requests in ChurchTools. This way you can clarify in advance whether an appointment is suitable for everyone or not and can postpone it if necessary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<aside class=\"wp-block-group ct-box ct-box-blue has-text-color has-background has-link-color wp-elements-74648fa9a9506de5179716347194bc98 is-vertical is-layout-flex wp-container-core-group-is-layout-002f1c27 wp-block-group-is-layout-flex\" style=\"border-radius:8px;border-left-color:#e7c000;border-left-width:0.5rem;color:#3f3400;background-color:#ffe5644d;margin-top:var(--wp--preset--spacing--60);margin-bottom:var(--wp--preset--spacing--60)\">\n<p style=\"margin-top:0.5rem;margin-right:0.5rem;margin-bottom:0rem;margin-left:0.5rem\"><strong>Warning<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"margin-top:0rem;margin-right:0.5rem;margin-bottom:0.5rem;margin-left:0.5rem\">Events are always linked to a calendar date. You therefore need at least one congregation or group calendar to be able to create events.<\/p>\n<\/aside>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"pers\u00f6nliche-kalender\">Personal calendars<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Your <em>personal calendars<\/em> are the place where, by default, <em><strong>your Roles, your absences, birthdays, and absences of members of your groups are<\/strong><\/em> displayed by default. These four calendars are only visible to you and cannot be shared with others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<aside class=\"wp-block-group ct-box ct-box-blue has-background is-vertical is-layout-flex wp-container-core-group-is-layout-002f1c27 wp-block-group-is-layout-flex\" style=\"border-radius:8px;border-left-color:#3e70ce;border-left-width:0.5rem;background-color:#f3f5f7;margin-top:var(--wp--preset--spacing--60);margin-bottom:var(--wp--preset--spacing--60)\">\n<p style=\"margin-top:0.5rem;margin-right:0.5rem;margin-bottom:0rem;margin-left:0.5rem\"><strong>Note<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"margin-top:0rem;margin-right:0.5rem;margin-bottom:0.5rem;margin-left:0.5rem\">Since v 3.102, you can choose whether you want to display the birthdays of all people visible to you or only those of people with whom you are in a group.<\/p>\n<\/aside>\n\n\n\n<p>You can also create your own <em>personal calendars<\/em>, which can be shared with other users like groups and congregation calendars and are also integrated into the rights management. Sign up groups and resource bookings can be created for personal calendars.
