To do this, select appointments from specific calendars for a period of up to 14 days to quickly and easily create an attractive Info Screen that updates automatically. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<aside class=\"wp-block-group ct-box ct-box-blue has-background is-vertical is-layout-flex wp-container-core-group-is-layout-1ccdadb1 wp-block-group-is-layout-flex\" style=\"border-radius:8px;border-left-color:#22c55e;border-left-width:0.5rem;background-color:#dcfce7;margin-top:var(--wp--preset--spacing--60);margin-bottom:var(--wp--preset--spacing--60)\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"margin-top:0.5rem;margin-right:0.5rem;margin-bottom:0rem;margin-left:0.5rem\"><strong>Tip<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"margin-top:0rem;margin-right:0.5rem;margin-bottom:0.5rem;margin-left:0.5rem\">You can configure multiple info screens, each with a different URL. Changes to the settings do not update the existing info screen, but instead create a new URL with the current settings. This allows you to use different info screens with different information at the same time.  <br><br>When displaying an information screen, it\u2019s best to use your browser in full-screen mode so that the address bar is hidden, making the display look neater and more professional.<\/p>\n<\/aside>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Users for the info screen<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To use the info screen, you must log in as an authorised user.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Steps 1 and 2 of the instructions are not necessary if a user of this type has already been created in your ChurchTools. In this case, <strong>please check the permissions that have been assigned by following Step 1<\/strong>, and then continue with Step 3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Create <strong>a new user for the info screen<\/strong>, e.g. \u2018Info Screen User\u2019, and grant them the following permissions: \n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>If you only want the Info Screen to display appointments from calendars that can also be viewed by a \u2018<a href=\"https:\/\/churchtools.academy\/en\/help\/permissions-management\/basics-understanding-permissions\/what-is-the-person-not-logged-in\/\" data-type=\"docs\" data-id=\"7582\">Person not logged in\u2019<\/a>, you do not need to grant this user any further permissions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In order to <strong>view additional appointments from calendars that have not been made visible to this person<\/strong>, and any resources booked in connection with them, this user requires the global permissions \u2018View individual calendars\u2019 (view category) for the relevant calendar categories and, where applicable, \u2018View resources\u2019 (view resource) for the relevant resources.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Under no circumstances<\/strong> should you grant this user administrative privileges. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select the newly created person from th list of people and set a <strong>password<\/strong> via <em>Permissions<\/em> &gt; &#8216;Set new password\u2019.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Log in to your ChurchTools account using the Infos-Screen user\u2019s login details<\/strong> and open the <em>settings for the Info-Screen<\/em>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<aside class=\"wp-block-group ct-box ct-box-blue has-text-color has-background has-link-color wp-elements-74648fa9a9506de5179716347194bc98 is-vertical is-layout-flex wp-container-core-group-is-layout-1ccdadb1 wp-block-group-is-layout-flex\" style=\"border-radius:8px;border-left-color:#e7c000;border-left-width:0.5rem;color:#3f3400;background-color:#ffe5644d;margin-top:var(--wp--preset--spacing--60);margin-bottom:var(--wp--preset--spacing--60)\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"margin-top:0.5rem;margin-right:0.5rem;margin-bottom:0rem;margin-left:0.5rem\"><strong>Important<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"margin-top:0rem;margin-right:0.5rem;margin-bottom:0.5rem;margin-left:0.5rem\">Pr\u00fcfe, welche Berechtigungen der aktuelle Benutzer hat und verwende niemals einen Benutzer mit Admin-Berechtigungen. <br><br>Wenn du in den Einstellungen unter <em>Aufruf<\/em> das Feld <em>ChurchTools User<\/em> siehst, bist du mit einem Nutzer mit Admin-Berechtigungen angemeldet. <strong>Verwende die hier angezeigte Info-Screen-URL NICHT.<\/strong> Sie enth\u00e4lt u. For the information screen, you can specify whether such events should also be displayed. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Resource selection<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Select whether, and if so, which appointment booking resources should be displayed on the information screen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Show subtitles and description of the event<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Use the two tick boxes to specify whether the subtitles and descriptions of the events should be displayed on the information screen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Display addition for appointment title (calendar text) from the services<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the calendar module, it is possible to display additional information from the events module alongside the title of the event, e.g. details of who will be preaching on Sunday.
