In other words, they map out the booking process\u2014from the initial request through confirmation, rejection, or cancellation. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For a standard resource without automatic confirmation, a new booking request is initially assigned the status <strong>&#8220;Awaiting Confirmation<\/strong>.&#8221; If the request is subsequently approved by an administrator, its status changes to <strong>&#8220;Confirmed<\/strong>.&#8221; If it is not approved, it is assigned the status &#8221; <strong>Rejected<\/strong>.&#8221;  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As a general rule, the existing resource statuses should not be changed.
