Booking requests are then either automatically confirmed right away or manually confirmed or rejected after being reviewed by a supervisor. You can delete or modify your own requests.

If you request a booking for a resource that has already been requested or booked, you’ll receive a clear note about the scheduling conflict when you try to make the booking. If a resource is set to allow multiple bookings, you won’t see a warning note when you request that resource. This makes sense, for example, for microphones or beer tent sets, of which there are usually multiple units available. We show you how to perform a transaction for a resource in the article “How do I create a booking request?”

If your church manages a lot of resources, it becomes harder to find individual bookings. ChurchTools offers several ways to filter bookings so you can quickly find what you’re looking for. We’ll show you how to filter the list of bookings on the web in the article “How do I filter resource bookings on the web?” For the app, check out the article “How do I filter resource bookings in the app?”

If you’re a resource manager, the Resources module will help you stay on top of things. To make your job easier, you can set up e-mail notifications for booking requests and booking changes. We provide plenty of helpful notes on this task in the article “How do I process booking requests?”

If you’re an admin for your ChurchTools account, you’ll set up the module to make it available to all users. Since this requires a clear overview and a screen large enough to see everything, you’ll only find these settings on the web. We’ll explain what you need to keep in mind and exactly how to do this in the articles in the “Preparing Resources” category.

Hinweis

ChurchTools provides you with various features that allow you to manage your congregation’s resources.
