Search for a person<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If a person whose attendance you want to record is missing from this list, they may not yet be a member of the selected group. In that case, you can search for them in ChurchTools using the<em> blue plus icon<\/em>(1) and add them to the group. If you click the <em>&#8220;Invite to [My Congregation]&#8221;<\/em> button (4), the person will automatically receive an e-mail after you save the information, allowing them to create an account. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>If<\/em> you <em>save<\/em> (5) this record, the newly created person will automatically be added to the selected group and their attendance will be recorded.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<aside class=\"wp-block-group ct-box ct-box-blue has-background is-vertical is-layout-flex wp-container-core-group-is-layout-1ccdadb1 wp-block-group-is-layout-flex\" style=\"border-radius:8px;border-left-color:#3e70ce;border-left-width:0.5rem;background-color:#f3f5f7;margin-top:var(--wp--preset--spacing--60);margin-bottom:var(--wp--preset--spacing--60)\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"margin-top:0.5rem;margin-right:0.5rem;margin-bottom:0rem;margin-left:0.5rem\"><strong>Note<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"margin-top:0rem;margin-right:0.5rem;margin-bottom:0.5rem;margin-left:0.5rem\">Create a new person only if they are not already in your ChurchTools. First, use the search function to check whether a record already exists. When you invite the person to join your ChurchTools, they will automatically receive an e-mail.
