If, for example, an address changes there, the change will be transferred to your ChurchTools. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The connection to DaviP is a read-only connection. This means that data is synchronized only to ChurchTools and not in the opposite direction. Changes made in ChurchTools are therefore not synchronized back to DaviP.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You can only sync contact and home information.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Records with lock flags are generally not synchronized.<\/p>\n\n<aside class=\"wp-block-group ct-box ct-box-blue has-background is-vertical is-layout-flex wp-container-core-group-is-layout-1ccdadb1 wp-block-group-is-layout-flex\" style=\"border-radius:8px;border-left-color:#22c55e;border-left-width:0.5rem;background-color:#dcfce7;margin-top:var(--wp--preset--spacing--60);margin-bottom:var(--wp--preset--spacing--60)\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"margin-top:0.5rem;margin-right:0.5rem;margin-bottom:0rem;margin-left:0.5rem\"><strong>Tipp<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"margin-top:0rem;margin-right:0.5rem;margin-bottom:0.5rem;margin-left:0.5rem\">To better organize your data, you can link groups in ChurchTools to target groups in DaviP. For example, people who are members of the church choir in DaviP are imported directly into the &#8220;Church Choir&#8221; group in ChurchTools.   <\/p>\n<\/aside>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">1. Connect DaviP<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In ChurchTools, <em> go to<\/em> Sync <em>+ System<\/em>. Here, enter <\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>a <em>name<\/em> for the connection (1),<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>the URL<\/em> for your DaviP online installation (typically: &#8220;https:\/\/www.davip.de&#8221;) (2),<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>your <em>login credentials<\/em> for DaviP (3) and (4) and  <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Enter your <em>GVE number<\/em>. This is the municipal administrative unit in DaviP. A DaviP user may have permissions for multiple GVEs, so it is important to know which one should be synchronized. The GVE number is displayed in the upper-right corner after logging in to DaviP-Online.   <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Finally, <em>test<\/em> the connection by clicking the blue <em>&#8220;Test Connection<\/em> &#8221; button (6). Configure the connection<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If the connection is working properly, define property pairs for the connection and add the first jobs.
