For each connection, you map the people in both systems to each other, thereby linking pairs of people that you can then synchronize using sync jobs. You can have the pairs linked automatically via sync jobs or, if necessary, link them manually using their IDs on a case-by-case basis.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The following applies:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The linked pairs of people apply to <strong>all orders <\/strong>placed <strong>by a<\/strong> connection.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A combination of first name, last name, e-mail, and date of birth determines whether a person in your ChurchTools system is linked to the same person in another system. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The minimum requirement for linking records is that a person&#8217;s first and last names must be identical in both systems.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Automatically link pairs of people<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">1. Select a connection and create a sync job<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Open a connection and use the <em>&#8220;+ Create Sync Job&#8221;<\/em> button (1) to create a new job for your connection. Configure the sync job and run it<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>For the newly created task, select the action &#8221; <em>Link People and unify properties<\/em> &#8221; (1).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Optionally, you can <em>narrow down<\/em> the group of people to sync with (2). <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Specify which <em>properties<\/em> (3) should be synchronized with the execution of the task. To form pairs of people, the first name, last name, e-mail, and date of birth are sufficient. Of course, you can also choose to synchronize additional properties.  <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Run the sync job once (4) to link the person pairs. You can find a list of all linked person pairs in the &#8220;Connections&#8221; section of the left-hand menu under &#8221; <em>Person Pairs<\/em>.&#8221; <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<aside class=\"wp-block-group ct-box ct-box-blue has-background is-vertical is-layout-flex wp-container-core-group-is-layout-1ccdadb1 wp-block-group-is-layout-flex\" style=\"border-radius:8px;border-left-color:#22c55e;border-left-width:0.5rem;background-color:#dcfce7;margin-top:var(--wp--preset--spacing--60);margin-bottom:var(--wp--preset--spacing--60)\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"margin-top:0.5rem;margin-right:0.5rem;margin-bottom:0rem;margin-left:0.5rem\"><strong>Tip<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"margin-top:0rem;margin-right:0.5rem;margin-bottom:0.5rem;margin-left:0.5rem\">If you want to automatically create new pairs of people in the future, set up a separate sync job in the same way and enable automatic execution for it.
