You should therefore only use them carefully and cautiously. First think about whether you can implement the other personal data fields better using <a href=\"https:\/\/churchtools.academy\/en\/help\/churchtools-modules\/groups\/\">groups<\/a> or <em>tags<\/em>.  <\/p>\n<\/aside>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">1. You can recognize this by the fact that they are greyed out. <\/p>\n<\/aside>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">3. You can also leave this blank. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Field category<\/strong> &#8211; Here you select the category in which the additional field should be added.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Feldtyp<\/strong> &#8211;&nbsp;Here you decide what kind of field you want to add:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><em>Selection box<\/em>: Here you can select exactly one option from a list. The field can also be emptied again. Once filled in, it can no longer remain empty. If you no longer need a field, you can simply deactivate it here instead of deleting it. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Use as placeholder<\/strong> &#8211; The field can be selected from the list of placeholders, e.g. for an e-mail.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Appears when people are entered<\/strong> &#8211; The field is displayed for completion when creating new persons.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>HTML representation of the end of line<\/strong> &#8211; Here you normally use <code>&lt;br\/&gt;<\/code> for a line break.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Security level<\/strong> &#8211; The <a href=\"https:\/\/churchtools.academy\/en\/help\/permissions-management\/security-level\/21-what-are-security-levels\/\" data-type=\"docs\" data-id=\"7584\">security level<\/a> of the field.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Length<\/strong> &#8211; The maximum number of letters that can be entered. Please post 11 here for selection fields. For text fields, enter as many as the maximum length of the text.    <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Sort Order <\/strong> &#8211; Sorting of the field in comparison to the other fields. This is the old term for <em>person fields<\/em>. However, the content of the video is still up to date.  <br><br>You no longer need to define <em>table columns<\/em> when creating your own personal data fields. Your ChurchTools now does this automatically for you.   <br><br>In addition, the procedure for creating your own <em>selection, multiple selection and either\/or selection fields<\/em> has changed. You no longer need to have the database table created by our support team.
