The integration allows you to synchronize ChurchTools events with the event platform “Evangelische Termine”. In some regional churches, this platform is called something else, so you can adjust the name for your ChurchTools in the settings. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

You need three details for synchronization:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. The URL at which the platform for your regional church can be accessed, e.g. “https:\/\/kalender.evlks.de”.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Your organizer ID “VID”. It is always displayed in the top right-hand corner of Evangelische Termine when you are logged in. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. The API key, which you can find in the menu of Evangelische Termine under Information<\/em> > API-Key<\/em>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    If the integration<\/strong> is activated for your ChurchTools<\/strong> and you have activated<\/strong> the synchronization in the settings of a calendar in the church calendar<\/em> category<\/strong>, all public appointments from this calendar are automatically synchronized.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Appointments that are only shared with logged-in users are not synchronized. Synchronization is not active by default. You can also set the event type with which the events are to be created in Evangelische Termine individually for each calendar. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    You can add further information<\/strong> to synchronized events in Evangelical events (e.g. further categorizations). As this additional information does not exist in ChurchTools, it will not be overwritten if you change something in ChurchTools on a synchronized appointment. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Activate integration<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    In the System settings<\/em> under Integrations<\/em> (1), select Evangelical appointments<\/em> (2) and activate<\/em> (3) the integration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    If the name of the event platform<\/em> (1) differs in your regional church, enter the name used in your country here. After you have entered the URL<\/em> (2) of the platform, your organizer ID (VID)<\/em> (3) and the API key<\/em> (4) from the platform, save<\/em> the connection data (5).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    If everything worked, the connection will be activated. You can terminate the connection again by clicking the Deactivate button (6).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Once the connection has been established and you have made a mistake, e.g. when configuring the event type of a calendar, you can delete all synchronized<\/em> events from your ChruchTools by clicking the Delete all synchronized events<\/em> button (7).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Activate synchronization for church calendars<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    In the calendar<\/em> (1), call up the settings<\/em> (3) of the church calendar<\/em> (2) that you want to synchronize.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    In the settings, activate<\/em> (4) the synchronization of public events from this calendar and select the event type<\/em> (5) with which the synchronized events are to be created in the platform. As soon as you save<\/em> (6), the events are synchronized if the connection is activated. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
