As a rule, your congregation needs a privacy policy if it uses ChurchTools, as data is stored and processed in ChurchTools.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Therefore, in ChurchTools you have the option of either linking an existing privacy policy of your congregation (external privacy policy) or using a privacy policy stored directly in ChurchTools and adapting it for your congregation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You can find out how to edit the privacy policy stored in ChurchTools here.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. Call up Data security \/ Data privacy<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

To edit the privacy policy, go to the Data security \/ Data privacy<\/em> section (3) in the System settings<\/em> (2) and navigate to Privacy notice<\/em> (4).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Click here on Edit<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The privacy policy stored in ChurchTools opens in a new browser tab.
To edit it, click on the context menu<\/em> (1) and select Edit page<\/em> (2).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
