Follow-ups support your church in maintaining relationships and reliably recording the results of discussions. They are suitable, for example, for welcoming first-time visitors or accompanying people in their spiritual or personal development. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

How do follow-ups work?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Follow-ups are used to plan tasks that are to be carried out for a specific person. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Plan follow-ups <\/h3>\n\n\n\n

When planning, you select who the task applies to and describe what is to be done. You specify when the task is to be completed, by whom and whether it should result in group membership. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Carry out follow-ups<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

You will be informed about all planned follow-ups that you are authorized to carry out and their due dates on the start page<\/em>, in the people module<\/em>, and in the groups module<\/em>. As soon as follow-ups that you can complete are due, you will receive a reminder email<\/em> once a day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When you open a follow-up, you will see the contact information that you are authorized to view, and you will have the option to reschedule<\/em> the task or mark it as completed<\/em>. You can also edit<\/em> the follow-up, add a comment<\/em> to it, or add a comment directly to the person. In the latter case, you determine who is authorized to view the comment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Who can use follow-ups?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In each person entry<\/em>, you will find the Follow-ups<\/em> section, which shows you the follow-ups that you are allowed to carry out for the selected person and that are due soon. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Follow-ups without a group context<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

By clicking on the small plus<\/em> in this section, you can schedule a new follow-up for the selected person, which you can also carry out. To do this, you only need to be able to see the person and do not need any further permissions. A follow-up planned in this way has no group reference. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Follow-ups with group context<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

With the group-internal permission Plan follow-up<\/em>, you can also plan follow-ups directly within a group<\/strong>. If you have the group-internal permission to carry out follow-ups<\/em>, you can also view and edit them accordingly. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

You also have the option of automatically scheduling follow-ups via your group’s routines<\/strong>, making it even easier to manage recurring tasks in your group. To do this, you need the group-internal permission Manage routines<\/em> or one of several global group permissions.
