They are suitable, for example, for welcoming first-time visitors or accompanying people in their spiritual or personal development.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How do follow-ups work?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Follow-ups are used to plan tasks that are to be carried out for a specific person. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Plan follow-ups <\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When planning, you select who the task is for and describe what needs to be done. Starting 14 days before the due date, you will receive a daily reminder e-mail for follow-ups that you can handle yourself. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When you open a follow-up, you\u2019ll see a clear overview of the contact information you\u2019re authorized to view, and you\u2019ll have the option <em>to<\/em> <em>reschedule<\/em> the task or <em>mark<\/em> it <em>as completed<\/em>. You can also <em>edit<\/em> the follow-up, add a <em>comment<\/em> to it, or leave a comment directly for the person. To do this, you only need to be able to see the person and do not need any further permissions. If you have the group-internal permission to <em>carry out follow-ups<\/em>, you can also view and edit them accordingly.  The <em>black number<\/em> next to the menu item Follow-up shows you at a glance how many are planned in total. To do this, you need the group-internal permission <em>Manage routines<\/em> or one of several global group permissions. You can find more information on this in the article <a href=\"https:\/\/churchtools.academy\/en\/help\/churchtools-modules\/routines-groups\/understanding-routines\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/churchtools.academy\/de\/help\/churchtools-module\/routinen\/routinen-verstehen\/\">Understanding routines<\/a> in the section <em>Who can use routines?<\/em>  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the <em>group settings<\/em> (1), under &#8221; <em>Follow-ups<\/em> &#8221; (2), you can specify whether <strong><em>e-mail notifications for overdue follow-ups<\/em><\/strong> for your group should be sent or not (3).
