ChurchTools is not liable for unauthorized use! <\/strong><\/p>\n<\/aside>\n\n\n\n<p>You can use newsletter tools such as <a href=\"https:\/\/churchtools.academy\/en\/help\/system-settings\/e-mail-en\/mailchimp-integration\/\" data-type=\"docs\" data-id=\"7403\">MailChimp<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/churchtools.academy\/en\/help\/system-settings\/e-mail-en\/cleverreach-integration\/\" data-type=\"docs\" data-id=\"7305\">CleverReach<\/a> or Mailjet to send large newsletters. These newsletter tools offer you some additional functions that ChurchTools cannot currently offer, e.g. individual designs or the sending of read receipts. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The assignment to the newsletter tool is done exclusively via groups. You can therefore create a group in ChurchTools, e.g. &#8220;Newsletter&#8221;, and assign an addressee list to it at the newsletter sender. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All the people you assign to this group are then also created in the newsletter tool of your choice. As soon as a recipient withdraws (from) the newsletter, the newsletter tool remembers the deregistration and ChurchTools cannot assign the person to the newsletter again. This fulfills the legal requirements for newsletters.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<aside class=\"wp-block-group ct-box ct-box-blue has-background is-vertical is-layout-flex wp-container-core-group-is-layout-002f1c27 wp-block-group-is-layout-flex\" style=\"border-radius:8px;border-left-color:#3e70ce;border-left-width:0.5rem;background-color:#f3f5f7;margin-top:var(--wp--preset--spacing--60);margin-bottom:var(--wp--preset--spacing--60)\">\n<p style=\"margin-top:0.5rem;margin-right:0.5rem;margin-bottom:0rem;margin-left:0.5rem\"><strong>Note<\/strong> <strong>on the use of Mailjet:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"margin-top:0rem;margin-right:0.5rem;margin-bottom:0.5rem;margin-left:0.5rem\">ChurchTools stores the first names, surnames and e-mail addresses of recipients with Mailjet. The properites &#8220;firstname&#8221; and &#8220;name&#8221; are used for the name. You can use these for newsletters to insert the recipient&#8217;s name in the e-mail.    <strong>It is important that you do not name these properties in Mailjet in German, as this can lead to problems.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/aside>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span style=\"font-size: calc(var(--markdown-size)*2.4rem);font-weight: bold;color: var(--theme-text)\">Setting up the newsletter integration<\/span><\/h2>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>You activate the newsletter integration for the respective newsletter platform in the <em>system settings<\/em> under <em>Integrations<\/em>. To do this, you usually need an API key or other access data for the newsletter tool, which you must enter here. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>After activation in the system settings, configure the integration for individual groups in the group settings (via Persons -&gt; Groups (old)). This means that the recipient is asked by e-mail to confirm that they really want to receive the newsletter by clicking on a link. By default, this is executed automatically every hour. If it is to be executed manually, you can click on <em>Execute scheduled tasks<\/em> in the Manage menu at the top right.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During synchronization, there is a <strong>comparison between ChurchTools and the newsletter tool<\/strong> and the name and e-mail address are checked. If a user&#8217;s e-mail address changes, the user is automatically deleted and recreated in the newsletter tool. In this case, the user must consent again if opt-in is activated.    <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There is <strong>NO synchronization from the newsletter tool to ChurchTools<\/strong>. This means that changes made in the newsletter tool are not transferred to ChurchTools.
