ChurchTools offers you the option of providing your ChurchTools users with links to various content in the “Links” widget on the start page<\/em>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

To do this, store internal or external links that you want to display in the widget in the system settings<\/em> and authorize them individually via the rights management. You can find out how to do this in this tutorial. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. store links<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In the System settings<\/em> (1) under General<\/em> (2), call up the Start page<\/em> (3).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Under widget “Links”<\/em> (4) click on + Add link<\/em> (5) and enter a title<\/em> (up to 50 characters), subtitle<\/em> (up to 100 characters) and the desired link<\/em> in the dialog box. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you have stored more than one link, you can adjust the order using Sort<\/em> (6).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Links permissions<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In the rights management<\/a><\/em> (1) under Administration<\/em> (2) you will find the global Permission to view entries in the links widget (view links)<\/em> (3). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Use the checkboxes<\/em> (4) to authorize person status<\/em>, group types<\/em>, groups<\/em> and users<\/em> for individual or all links. You can find detailed instructions on how to do this in the article How do I assign global permissions?<\/a> <\/p>\n\n\n\n
