In ChurchTools, you can customize the roles for each group type<\/a> so that they fit your group structures exactly. You can find out what options you have for this on this help page. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. call up the roles<\/a> of a group type in the settings<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

You call up the settings<\/strong><\/em> (2) in the Groups<\/strong><\/em> module (1).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Then select Manage Group types<\/strong><\/em> (3).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here you will find all leadership and participation roles<\/em> of the selected group type, add new ones and adjust existing ones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. add new roles<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Click on Add Leadership or Participation role<\/em> to open the input screen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here you enter a Title<\/strong><\/em> (1) and an abbreviation<\/strong><\/em> (2) for your new role.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Optionally, you can the new role hide<\/strong><\/em> (3). This makes sense, for example, in the case of the role of a coach who supervises the leader of a group. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

You also have the opportunity to give the role a growth path<\/strong><\/em> (4) to accompany people with this role in a group of this particular type.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With the Save<\/strong><\/em> (5) you create the new role for the selected group type.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. customize existing roles<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

To customize an existing role, click on the corresponding role line.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This opens the settings for the selected role and you can customize everything there that you can also define when creating a new role (see above).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You can also change the type<\/strong><\/em> (1) of the roll, change it to the standard role<\/strong><\/em> (2) or delete it<\/strong><\/em> (3). <\/p>\n\n\n\n
