{"id":35602,"date":"2025-12-10T14:05:40","date_gmt":"2025-12-10T13:05:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/churchtools.academy\/help\/non-knowledgebase\/uncategorized\/master-data-of-the-persons-module\/"},"modified":"2026-01-13T11:42:33","modified_gmt":"2026-01-13T10:42:33","password":"","slug":"master-data-of-the-persons-module","status":"publish","type":"docs","link":"https:\/\/churchtools.academy\/en\/help\/churchtools-modules\/einstellungen-personen\/master-data-of-the-persons-module\/","title":{"rendered":"Master data of the Persons module"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The data that is important for the further processing of personal data is stored in the <em>master data<\/em> of the <em>Persons<\/em> core module.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can access it by calling up the <em>Persons<\/em> module and switching to the <em>master data<\/em> on the right.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There are fields in the master data that appear again and again:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>ID<\/strong> &#8211; Indicates the actual database ID. This cannot be changed as it is specified by the database. An ID is always unique for each table.    <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Sorting<\/strong> &#8211; This can be used to change the order in which the fields are displayed in the application. The higher the value, the further down in the sequence the field is displayed. Negative values may also be used.  <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<aside class=\"wp-block-group ct-box ct-box-blue has-background is-vertical is-layout-flex wp-container-core-group-is-layout-002f1c27 wp-block-group-is-layout-flex\" style=\"border-radius:8px;border-left-color:#3e70ce;border-left-width:0.5rem;background-color:#f3f5f7;margin-top:var(--wp--preset--spacing--60);margin-bottom:var(--wp--preset--spacing--60)\">\n<p style=\"margin-top:0.5rem;margin-right:0.5rem;margin-bottom:0rem;margin-left:0.5rem\"><strong>Note<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"margin-top:0rem;margin-right:0.5rem;margin-bottom:0.5rem;margin-left:0.5rem\">A group&#8217;s follow-ups are now available in the routines of the same group and can be adjusted there independently of other groups. The master data \u2018Follow-ups\u2019 and \u2018Follow-up intervals\u2019 are therefore no longer required and have been removed.<\/p>\n<\/aside>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Department<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>A <a href=\"https:\/\/churchtools.academy\/en\/help\/system-settings\/general-system-settings\/what-are-person-statuses-campuses-and-departments-in-churchtools\/\">department<\/a> is a subdivision of a campus that has its <strong>own management structure and list of persons<\/strong>. If this is the case for you, you can add one or more depertments to the standard Church list in the master data.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can read how to do this in our guide to <a href=\"https:\/\/churchtools.academy\/de\/help\/churchtools-modules\/grundlagen-personen\/0-wie-erstelle-und-bearbeite-ich-einen-bereich\/\">creating new departments<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Person fields<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>You can edit the selection of fields using the <a href=\"https:\/\/churchtools.academy\/en\/help\/churchtools-modules\/settings-people\/what-are-person-fields\/\">person field<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Personal status<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/churchtools.academy\/en\/help\/system-settings\/general-system-settings\/what-are-person-statuses-campuses-and-departments-in-churchtools\/\">Person statuses<\/a> describe <strong>people&#8217;s relationships to your churc<\/strong>h.
