Recommendations on permissions for music groups

1 min. read

In this article you will find our recommendations for the authorization of the music groups. Depending on your church structure, you should take away or add any permissions your musicians (don’t) need.

For your music team, we assume that you use a group in which all members of the team are organized. However, if you organize your team in different bands, it would also be possible to assign permissions similar to the small groups, e.g. to a group type worship, which you can create yourself.

Basically, we recommend that all members should be able to see each other, have access to the group’s calendar, and most importantly, be able to see the events in order to accept or cancel the services for which they have been requested.

Leaders of the group should also be able to schedule services for the events and book resources such as rehearsal rooms.

For all members of the group, we recommend access to the wiki and group chat so that information can be easily shared.
