How to create/edit a group meeting?

Groups thrive on seeing each other regularly and leaders keeping track of their group members. With ChurchTools, you can easily plan meetings for your group and record afterwards who was there and how the meeting went. In this article, we explain how you can create and edit group meetings.

Create group meetings #

To create a group meeting, navigate to the Groups module (1) and open the group (2) for which you want to create a meeting.

The menu item Meetings (3) on the left-hand side of the group overview takes you to an overview of all meetings already created for this group and the attendance of all group members.

You can easily add another meeting to your group using the + Create Meetings (4) button.

You can filter the list of all group meetings by upcoming (1), past but not yet completed (2) and past and completed (3) meetings.

If you click directly on a specific meeting, all group members are displayed under Presence (1), for which you can also enter the attendance or absence for the meeting here (2). The filter (3) gives you a quick overview of attendance for large Groups.

Under Feedback (4) you have the opportunity to leave a comment on the meeting, record any guests and record your thoughts on the meeting itself. You can also enter or add this information when you close the meeting (5).

You can unlock or delete the meeting using the three-dot menu next to the time.

Below the list of group members, you will find another list showing which group members were not yet in the group (6) or had already passed away (7) at the time of the selected meeting.
