Release and publish personal data #

Release personal data

Sharing with individual people is done via the group roles of users in ChurchTools. Unlike posts or calendars, the current data of shared people is then automatically imported into your ChurchTools website, but not automatically published. You can find out how to publish the data in the next section.

  1. You create the release of the persons via the + Share members button.
  2. First, select the group in which the person is located.
  3. In the last step, you select the group role that you want to publish.

Publish personal data

Approved people are synchronized to your website and saved there as a draft under People. You can find out how to further edit and publish the data in our article on publishing personal data.

Published Groups #

Groups are published without further approval as soon as you set the visibility of the group to Public in the group settings. ChurchTools Website then automatically imports the published groups and keeps them up to date.

All public groups and their group homepages are displayed in the group shares.
