# Growth Trajectory

The Growth Path helps you identify where a person stands and what helps them move forward. The Growth Path is displayed in the user view next to each person’s name:

**The following default settings are entered as suggestions:**

1. Welcome
2. Connect
3. Grow
4. Lead (Group)
5. Lead (Division)
6. Leadership (Board)

## Adapt and Link Growth Pathways

1. **Record steps on the growth path**
   - In the master data, under the "Growth Path" section, you can adjust the preset growth paths or add additional ones.
   - It is important to note the order. The higher the “Sort Order,” the more advanced the growth path is.
2. ****Link growth paths to different roles****
   - **General Link**
In the master data, you can now link the growth paths under "Group Type - Role":

1. **Special Link**
This default setting can now be further customized for each group. To do this, each group has a "Configure Roles" option. Any setting here overrides the default configuration specified in the General Link.

For example, if the "Leadership" growth path is assigned to a leader in a home group, this can be manually overridden here using the "Grow" option. By default, the growth path is set to an empty selection in every group. This means that the growth path is disabled for that group. To disable individual roles, you must uncheck the box.

### **permission**

- The growth path is now active and appears for each person in *the People module*.
- **Not everyone can view the growth path.**
By default, all users with a security level of 3 or higher are authorized to view the growth path.
The security level can be configured under *Master Data* > *personal data fields*.
