The ALPHA Bookstore is one of the largest Christian bookstore chains in Germany and works with almost all Christian publishers such as Brunnen, Kawohl, Francke, Gerth Medien, SCM Hänssler, Adonia, Bibellesebund, Oncken or the German Bible Society.

The most important at a glance #

The ALPHA Bookstore-Integration allows you to display a Bookstore in the Discover section of your ChurchTools App. With the Bookstore, people in your church can order books, calendars, CDs and more directly from ALPHA Bookstore.

In addition, you have the option of storing an ALPHA Partnerlink ID in ChurchTools. With this, your church receives a commission of 10% for every purchase.

In addition, by storing the ID, those responsible for the “book table” in your church have the opportunity to select a personal display in the Bookstore for your church, i.e. practically a digital book table. They can design this display themselves with up to 10 titles and, for example, offer matching books for the current sermon series. For this purpose, we have written instructions in which we explain step by step how to set up your individual Bookstore in the ChurchTools app via an ALPHA user account.

This is how it works #

(1) Display ALPHA Bookstore #

In the Admin Settings under Integrations > ALPHA Bookstore you can choose whether the Bookstore should be displayed in your ChurchTools App or not.

(2) Store ALPHA Partnerlink ID #

If the ALPHA Bookstore is displayed in your app, you can enter your church’s ALPHA Partnerlink ID here in order to receive a 10% commission for every purchase made via the ChurchTools App and to enable individual display in the Bookstore.
