How to process the confidentiality agreement?

If you store personal data or other sensitive data of your congregation in ChurchTools and users of your ChurchTools have access to this data, it may make sense for these users to accept a confidentiality agreement before they can use ChurchTools.

To make it easier for you to use a confidentiality agreement, we have provided a sample agreement in ChurchTools that you can customize for your congregation.

You can find out how to edit the confidentiality agreement stored in ChurchTools here.

1. Call up Data security / Data privacy #

To edit the privacy policy, go to the Data security / Data privacy section (3) in the System settings (2) and navigate to General (4).

2. Edit confidentiality agreement #

Here you click on Edit text (1).

The confidentiality agreement stored in ChurchTools opens in a new browser tab.
To edit it, click on the context menu (1) and select Edit page (2).

Click on the Save button in the top right-hand corner to save your changes.
