Improvements
- New Activity Log: Starting now, changes to content, users, and settings will be recorded in an activity log. This way, even with multiple editors, you can keep track of what has changed on your website.
- Additional Information for Compact List Entries: Compact list entries that represent people now display a pop-up with additional information—such as a description, contact information, or links—when clicked.
- Contact People via the Contact Form: Visitors can now contact people via a contact form without their e-mail addresses being visible on the website.
- New button row on group pages: Group pages now display a button row below the title: “Sign Up” takes you to the registration form, and “Contact the Leader” opens a contact form that visitors can use to send a message to the group leader—without revealing their e-mail address. The button appears only if the corresponding option is enabled in the ChurchTools settings for the public group page. The share buttons have also been moved to this row on group pages.
- New external service: Zeeg can now be integrated into your website under “Additional Roles.” Is there an external service you’re missing? You can request it here.
Other changes
- The menu icon in the header is now displayed at a consistent size and is no longer based on the logo size.
- Theme Leah: With the header layout “Next to the logo, left-aligned,” the navigation bar can now take up more screen width. As a result, the burger menu appears much less frequently on desktop screens.
- YouTube videos with a time specified in the link now start at the specified point. You can now also paste the embed code for YouTube videos and playlists.
- The People module now displays the specified number of columns on portal pages; even portrait-oriented cards no longer show any extra empty columns on wide screens.
- Modals now use the low-contrast map style of the selected color scheme.
- Theme Ezra: Heading sizes have been corrected.
