- REST-Api
- In the future, login tokens will no longer create a session when making REST API calls. This new behavior can already be enabled in the system settings to test connected API clients for compatibility. Clients can continue to use a session by including the query parameter “with_session=true” when logging in.

- General
- The new visual Markdown editor and renderer allows you to format and reference content in ChurchTools
- Text can be formatted as bold, italic, strikethrough, inline code, or with links
- Headings, lists, numbering, tables, quotes, code blocks, divider lines, links, and images can be inserted (the latter only in the wiki)
- People, groups, wiki pages, and songs can be referenced and displayed in different sizes
- The admin welcome dialog has been updated and now offers direct access to ChurchTools setup.
- Status cards—such as those in the group settings for registration—now better adjust button sizes and line breaks to fit the available width.

- For group chats, you can now configure whether new group members can view the existing chat history; however, they can only view the history up to the time they join the group.
- On group detail pages, the Members widget now displays the average age of the group members.
- Options for group member fields of the “Single-select,” “Either/Or Selection,” or “Multiple Selection” can now be edited.
- Attachments can now be included in routine emails.
- In routine emails, group member emails, and mail merges, the check-in code can now be inserted as a placeholder in the text and sent.
- The delay setting in routines now also allows for specifying months and years (for longer time periods).
- Large tables with many rows and columns are now displayed more efficiently.
- People who unsubscribe via the newsletter provider are now also marked as unsubscribed in the group.

- The default value of a group member field is now also validated and normalized.Groups can be filtered via the REST API based on whether their chat is active.
- OAuth applications can use the ChurchTools API—with explicit authorization—within the scope of the logged-in user’s permissions.
- The History API now supports filters by time period, actor, and source.
- Comment visibility settings can now be managed and sorted via the REST API.

- General
- The log view now returns to the first page when search filters are changed.
- The validation of the Evangelical Calendar settings has been made more secure.
- When logging in via an external login provider, ChurchTools two-factor authentication is no longer additionally enforced
- After a password change, existing sessions are reliably terminated again.
- Descriptions in selection fields are now displayed securely.
- For hidden groups, editing functions for group memberships are now only displayed to users with the appropriate permissions.
- Wiki pages are now only displayed in the quick search if at least one wiki category is visible.
