The Nordkirche has a central administrative system for people assigned to individual organizations and a central calendar of events. All parishes of the Nordkirche enter their public contacts and dates into both of these systems. You can automatically display these—always up to date—on your ChurchTools Website, for example in an events widget or on an events page.
People and appointments are retrieved via an interface with the Nordkirche church database. To enable this, your institution ID was requested using the Nordkirche’s CCP form when your website was created and automatically configured for your website. Based on this ID, the correct people and events are automatically retrieved and transferred to your ChurchTools Website. Any additions to the title of an event are also transferred.
Instead of your institution ID, you also have the option to use the ID of a higher-level congregation within the event calendar. This allows you to retrieve and display the people and events for multiple congregations at once. On the ChurchTools Website, the displayed events can then be filtered by these congregations.

You can disable the import at any time in the admin area of your ChurchTools Website. To do this, go to ” Data Import ” in the settings and toggle off the switch under ” Import Church Data.”
